We can work it out
Life is very short and there's no time for fussing and fighting my friend.
Feeling low, lethargic, down and blue? Work it out. Get off your lazy fat ass, go jogging, cycling or down to sweat off some of that frustration and excess crap at the local gym. Get your pasty, white, bloated, fatty body outside, pump those endorphins through your body, let the rivulets of sweat sting your eyes.
Breathe the fresh outdoor air, be like Lance, pedal those legs like the wheels on the bus up the steep hill of your apathy. Pull yourself up on the chin-up bar of your dreams. Lift those weights of depression, jog away those tears. Trust me, it works.

Yes!! Unless, of course, you have clinical depression in which case it doesn't.
TRK, Couldn't have put it better myself.
But what if there are no dreams left and you are happy to stay where you are; why expend the energy when you can live life the way it is.
I'm not sure that's 100% true Elster. I thought, lulei demistafina, that exercise did assist in rebalancing the circuits.
Quick criticism, lulei demistafina: You're publishing too quickly again. Your last post, on the two communities, is going to get overlooked while people argue about brain chemistry.
I walked to town and back today, twice, and do feel better for it, especially after I took an afternoon nap!

1. What i meant was that, for a "normal" person, something like excercize is just the thing for depression breaking. but for s/o with "clinical depression", it's too simple an answer.
2. As for "overposting" - Not everyone subscribes to the philosophy of "perfect" posts once a week. Some people like to post how they feel or think, as often as they think or feel it, without putting it under the magnifying glass too much. And yes, the drawback to that is overlooked posts but so be it...
It has nothing to do with being fat. Physical excertion (excercising) releases natural endorphins in the body which cause a natural high. It's not about excercising to lose weight thus your self esteem improves...

Also it allows you to eat more - another comfort for depressed souls.
A little trite, but nonetheless true.
TRK,
I'm exhausted just reading how I should be exercising.........but you ARE right, and I'm just damn lazy. Maybe tomorrow.....hmmm?
sounds fun
thanks everyone, this post was directed at myself, and it's been working, but if I helped anyone else out in the process then I'm glad
